This reimagining of Sherlock Holmes is a great piece of work. Sherlock Holmes is played by Benedict Cumberbatch who is also playing the villain in the upcoming Star Trek squeal. John Watson is played by Martin Freeman who is well known as Bilbo Baggins in The Hobbit. Jim Moriarty is played by Andrew Scott.



The episodes that have shown so far are A Study in Pink, The Blind Banker, The Great Game, A Scandal in Belgravia, The Hounds of Baskerville, and The Reichenbach Fall.

Four of these episodes are losely adapted off the original stories called A Study in Scarlet, A Scandal in Bohemia, The Hound of Baskerville, and The Final Problem.
