TimeBanking Works
In 2009 the Visiting Nurse Service of New York surveyed it's timeBanking participants. These are the results of that survey:
- 100% saw benefit from being timeBanking member
 - 98% able to use skills to help others
 - 90% increased number of friends
 - 88% feel they are making contribution to community through timeBanking
 - 85% increased sense of belonging
 - 79% reported felt supported to age in place
 - 72% reported improvements in self-rated mental health
 - 71% increased sense of trust in people from other backgrounds, cultures
 - 67% increased access to community info
 - 48% reported improvements in self-rated physical health
 
TimeBanking works in communities where individuals are committed to true and sincere participation.
